A Doctor Who Cares
Born into a family of four psychiatrists, Dr. Gregory Shadid grew up in Norman, Oklahoma talking about psychological issues around the dinner table. As an established and highly esteemed physician with over 29 years of experience in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry, he has focused the last eleven years on helping persons with ADHD. Personal experience with ADHD among close family members has helped Dr. Gregory Shadid understand the impact that it can have on all aspects of life including work, social, romantic and family relationships.

“The purpose of me specializing in ADD/ADHD is to provide relief to individuals suffering from academic, occupational, social skills and relationship problems due to the impact of ADD/ADHD in their lives” – Dr. Gregory Shadid said.
He is well regarded in the central Oklahoma community, earning numerous accolades for the quality of his patient centered care. Dr. Shadid was recognized in 2017 by his peers as a Top Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the Oklahoma City/metro area 405 Magazine’s The Best Doctors in America. He also received the Outstanding Teacher Award for four consecutive years from the Griffin Memorial Psychiatry Residency Program in Oklahoma.
Dr. Gregory Shadid is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, board certified and re-certified in Adult Psychiatry and board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Shadid recently relocated to South Bend, Indiana with his wife of 32 years, Therese, and enjoys life with his four children.
